Guardamar is extraordinary due to its variety of natural landscapes. On one side, there are sand dunes and rich coastal forests. On the other — the Segura River, which flows into the Mediterranean Sea. And on the third side, there are small mountains offering stunning views of the Mediterranean Sea, Santa Pola Bay, and Tabarca Island.

Particular attention should be paid to the natural park of La Mata and, of course, pink salty lagoons, amazing in their beauty and healing properties. These lakes maintain their own microclimate, which is especially recommended for people suffering from respiratory diseases and allergies. And beside that, the climate is congenial for pregnant women and children.

Climate

One of the main reasons why Guardamar attracts so many people is its climate — 320 sunny days a year. In addition, it is not hot in summer and not cold in winter here. The average August air temperature here is +27 degrees, and in cold months it’s about 17-20 degrees, so even in winter you can meet leisure travellers on the beach.
