Finestrat - a municipality in Spain, part of the province. About 6500 people live here permanently, more than 40 percent of whom are foreigners. The town itself is small and comfortable, retaining the appearance of the old Spanish city.
The Finestrat area is interesting because it is in close proximity to Benidorm, the most popular resort on the entire Costa Blanca. In fact, you can get to Finestrat from this noisy city in 5-7 minutes by car. And you can get there from anywhere in the coast, including the nearest Alicante airport, along the AR-7, N322 and 65-A routes.
This area, like the entire Benidorm zone, has been actively developing since the 80s. All the most interesting and anchored tourist and commercial facilities were built over the past 30 years. It is here that some of the best amusement parks are located - Terra Mitika, Terra Natura Zoo, and the Mundomar Theme Marine Park.
The old town of Finestrat is located at the foot of Mount Puig Campana with a height of 1,410 meters, and La Cala de Finestrat is the place where tourists who want to enjoy the sea and silence stop.
