Tourism in Dehesa de Campoamor
Campoamor or Dehesa de Campoamor (do not confuse with Campoamor Golf Resort) is located directly on the coast of the southern Costa Blanca. The place first appeared on the map in the mid-19th century, when the poet Ramon de Campoamor, governor of Alicante, married a young Irish lady named Guillermine O'Gorman. However, only in the 50s of the 20th century this area began to seriously develop.
Today, this area is popular for having a marina, luxury villas with sea views, and long beaches that start from Cabo and go to Mil Palmeras.
One of the main attractions of Campoamor is that the district has a well-developed tourist infrastructure. Magnificent sandy beaches with many restaurants and bars, fully equipped parking for yachts and boats, quality real estate, both luxury villas and apartments that are more affordable. And all this is surrounded by lush green gardens and pine parks.
Campoamor is also well-maintained - not so long ago, new bike paths were laid and picnic areas were organized, with equipped barbecue areas, which are very appreciated by both locals and tourists. Thanks to the above, Campoamor is an excellent place for permanent residence, as well as for leisure or investment in real estate. Here you will find properties for every taste: luxury villas on the first line of the sea, penthouses with large terraces, affordable apartments, townhouses.
It takes just a few minutes to go to the popular shopping center La Zenia Boulevard. It is specially built in such a way that it seems that the city center with cozy pedestrian streets was moved to the suburbs. Even if you do not like shopping, you will not refuse to walk around this town. For children there is a playground with attractions, and a fountain, a favorite place in the summer. As in a real city, there you will find many restaurants and bars, a bowling alley, and even a casino. Campoamor is much more than a well-located town. We advise you to see it for yourself by visiting it. Since the city is located in close proximity to the AP 7 motorway and the N-332 motorway, getting to it is easy and simple, both from airports and other areas of Spain. It takes just 20 minutes drive from Murcia airport and about 45 minutes from Alicante airport.
